Located in the village of Manchester-by-the-Sea, this fully equipped 4 Bdrm, 2.5 bath home easily sleeps 8 with room for 10. Walk to the beach, harbor, library, train, tennis courts, SUP, yoga, grocery store and fabulous restaurants during your week stay (6 night min) or relax on the front porch, within the fantastic yard or grill on the back patio. Well appointed, furnished for comfort and easy to enjoy - this is the perfect vacation rental. Every aspect of living is available for you.
House rental comes with Beach Parking / Walk-On Pass for SINGING BEACH in Manchester and CRANE'S BEACH in Ipswich. Both beaches are delightful and wonderful experiences.

Summary: Our family of 4 and sometimes 5 adults., with 3 young children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Stacey was exceptionally responsive to every question and need. The house is comfortable, spacious, and convenient to everything—shops, restaurants, and beautiful Singing Beach. We were there for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave!

Summary: A beautiful and very comfortable location for our large family vacation. Perfectly appointed with everything we could need - including beach towels and tennis racquets to use on the courts right across the road from the house. The beach and village are within walking distance, but Stacey will very graciously secure a beach parking pass for your car! The weather was so incredibly hot and humid during our week, but we were so comfortable with air conditioning in our bedrooms and many fans in the house - even one on the porch that gave us a most wonderful breeze and kept the mosquitoes away each evening. We (all 9 of us plus our three pups) loved our stay and highly recommend "Brook-By-The-Sea".

Summary: This is a fantastic house in a great location. Clean, comfortable, has all the amenities you need, and tons of space to spread out--we were able to host other family members staying in the area for dinner two nights--around 20 people--and never felt crowded, between the great fenced-in back yard seating, the family room, dining room, and the ample seating on the front porch. All very comfortable. It was the perfect place to host a group! We didn't have any young children with us, but if you do, they will enjoy the yard, swing set, and many "kid entertainment" options available. But it's a great house for adult groups, too. Stacey and her husband were SO nice and helpful with any questions we had prior to arrival or anything that came up during our stay. The town itself is charming, with some fun little shops and good dining options, and the two local beaches are great (and the house had beach chairs/umbrellas, which is great). If you're a Crane's beach fan (like we are), the drive is so easy and the beach passes in general are a nice bonus. I'd go back again, and would recommend it to anybody whose bed size/type needs align with what they have. Just a wonderful, fun place owned by very thoughtful, accommodating people!

Summary: A holiday spent in the North Shore's jewel, Manchester-by-the-Sea, would be greatly enhanced with a stay at "Brook by the Sea". This home is comfortably appointed, offering a cozy cook's kitchen, which opens onto a spacious family room and ample dining room, creating a warm and welcoming space for family and friends. Four bedrooms offer generous sleeping space. The master bedroom is set apart from the other three bedrooms and has an ensuite bath for additional privacy. The front porch is a delightful spot to enjoy breakfast or an evening cocktail, and the back patio served as the perfect (less formal) setting for a Maryland-Style crab feast. The fully fenced yard and swing set make this a perfect spot for families of all ages, shapes and sizes. All amenities are within a quick stroll through the winding streets of this charming city-by-the-sea. Crosby's Market, churches, the pharmacy, library, restaurants and shops are all within a few minutes walk. Singing Beach is one of the most glorious beaches on the East Coast. This gem is a speedy drive or a very manageable walk from the house. The Owners of this home are welcoming, helpful with travel tips, and quick to respond to requests and queries. The townspeople are friendly, creating a sublime setting to enjoy a memorable get away. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay!

Summary: Our group of 4 adults and 3 children stayed at this charming home for a week at the end of June...The house was a perfect fit for us! The master bedroom/bath is separated from the other three bedrooms, and all are on the second floor which worked great for us to offer my parents some privacy. It is not so far, though, that you wouldn't be able to hear your kids if you were staying in the master and had kids in the other bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of room to put our clothes/etc so nothing felt cramped. The main level of the house is cozy but spacious enough to spread out -- We used one room for those who wanted to watch a little TV, and the other room for those who wanted a quieter reading spot. In between is the kitchen/dining area - the kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. All that said, we actually used the outdoor spaces the most. The back patio area is wonderful! There was a nice breeze back there in the evenings and we could all sit together at the long table. We grilled several nights and it worked out perfectly. Before and after dinner was spent on the front porch which had very comfortable couch/chairs and a view of the tennis courts/turf field below (and the spacious yard, which was good for younger kids) My kids were in heaven using the turf field! There is also a wonderful playground at the end of the field. As far as location, it was ideal -- I walked to town each morning to get groceries(only 7 minutes)! The proximity to Singing Beach was our favorite part as we went to the beach on 4 occasions - it is an awesome beach - perfect sand, very clean, snacks sold on premises, and easy to park with the provided parking pass. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better set up for our needs. Many, many thanks to the owners, who answered every question quickly and even provided ideas of things to be sure to see (like Tuck's point which was also a great spot!). Five stars.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this Manchester-by-the-Sea home. The house is exactly as promised - lots of space, beautiful bedrooms, everything anyone would need for a family of four (or more). We arrived to find everything immaculate. This was a "turn key" experience. What an amazing neighborhood - so quiet and cute, but very close to downtown. Singing Beach (about a mile from the house) is unbelievably beautiful - with the beach passes, beach toys, chairs and umbrella, we were ready to go! We had a few questions during our stay and the owners were immediately responsive. The weather wasn't always perfect and that didn't bother us a bit! The house is so comfortable, we were able to just relax, read and watch a movie with the kids. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with a family - it's clean, roomy, convenient and homey. Our girls are 8 and the home was just perfect for them. Manchester-by-the-Sea is a perfect alternative to the very busy Cape. It's a very nice "hometown" feeling - with easy access to a gorgeous beach and delicious restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: This is a truly wonderful home for a family stay in Manchester-by-the-Sea! The description in the listing was accurate in all respects. Everyone in our party absolutely loved staying there. The property is very child-friendly, and the 4 children in our group were thrilled to be there from the moment we arrived throughout our entire stay. The house is gorgeous, very clean and well kept and equipped, and it comfortably accommodated our party of 6 adults and 4 children. The property has a terrific, large fenced-in yard with play structures for children - all the parents in our party felt that it was just perfect. The location is fantastic - just a very short walk to the town and shopping and also a short and pleasant walk to Singing beach. It is also just a short drive from the house to Crane beach. We had great beach days at both beaches during our stay. The house is in a very nice neighborhood, peaceful and quiet, and it is located right across the street from a park. The owners provided excellent customer service - interactions were all prompt and very nice. I would absolutely recommend the property to friends and family, and we hope to stay there again. It was terrific - we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay!
